@Vijay garu - I heard NTR's (prema simhasanam)? being the first to be shot abroad (Nepal).

isn't Ramudu Parasuramudu the first telugu film to be shot outside the Indian subcontinent (i.e outside India and neighboring countries)?

Adhi Premasimhaasanam kaadhu Saahasavanthudu (1978).  Nepal lo shoot cheshaaru.
Aa cinema Indian subcontinent lono bhagamaina Nepal lo theesharu kaabatti videshaalaalo ani yekkuvagaa cheppoaru.

Indian subcontinent bayata shoot chesi release aina tholli chithram
Ranganath herogaa Chiru side herogaa natinchina Love in Singapore.

Ramudu Parasuramudu kannaa 2 weeks mundhugaa release ainadhi (September 27, 1980).  Aa cinema Singapore lo shoot cheshaaru.

Ramudu Parashuramudu Japan, Singapore, Malaysia laanti multiple countries lo shoot chesina tholi chithram.

Alaage USA lo shoot chesina tholi chithram Krishna cinema Hare Krishna Hello Radha (release October 16, 1980).

Interestingly, none of these films was successful, which again proved that subject is more important than additional attractions.

Have u heard about Sivakumar's Raman-Parasuraman which was also released earlier to Ramudu Parashuramudu in 1979-1980?  My dbout is RAmudu Parasuramudu might be a remake of RAman Parasuraman.  If you know anything about that film, please share.

Raman Parasuraman and Ramudu Parasuramudu were shot simultaneously in tamil and telugu by the same technical team and the producer (actor Suresh Mysore's father) . only the casting was different I think. I've not seen this film in either version, though. I remember this is what Suresh told in a TV program he came in as a gues (neeya naana) few years back.

The tamil version might have been released little earlier (few months)  than the telugu version.

While in Singapore, Shobhan was enlightened about land value by a star hotel receptionist who asked NSB about the land availiability in India and she told how land is so precious as in Singapore, they literally had no free land available to buy and therefore they were forced to build skyscrapers and even in Japan, Shobhan got the same information and when he returned to India, the first thing he did was buying all available land everywhere in Madras city which he thought would become precious in future and that was the beginning of his real estate empire.  After that he acted in many mediocre films which he never did earlier just to rotate money in the real estate field and also he swithced his image to mainly lady oriented films (with which he need not get strained as literally there would not be any physical strain for such roles) to give more time to his business.  He lost complete interest in his career though another 6 years audience patronized his film as usual.  He just acted for money in that period.  By mid 80s, he became one among the top 6 realtors in Chennai city amassing huge wealth.  Also, he never kept his secret and he advised all of the actors, actresses, directors, producers with whom he worked with then, but most of them did not heed to his words, which proved very hard for them in the future.  Murali Mohan was the first one to follow Shobhan's advice and he went to build his own empire in Hyderabad.  I once directly saw Shobhan advising Iron leg Shastrhi during Shobhan's Dorababu shooting in Nanakramguda about buying land in Thadepalli gudem (Shansthir's native town), but he did not bother and he suffered later.
