But again it depends solely on the context. Most of the times, we call abuses in a friendly manner and people are okay with it. It is only degrading when you are meant to hurt others.
It is better if we can stop these. But at the same time, as long as the person on the other end doesn't feel those in a degrading way, it is okay IMO. In any case, the line is clearly drawn for abuses and easy to judge.

Body shaming on the other end is a bit murky. People calling those doesn't feel they are wrong and the one called these wont say they feel bad.

I have seen guys who felt bad with body shaming comments being called as too-serious & unfriendly. Sadly, we generate humor mostly using these body shaming comments. And particularly with boys & girls interactions, those who want to project themselves as alpha males, body shaming of other guys in the group is most common.

How on earth would you come to know if the other person is okay with it or not.....nuvv friendly ga anochu, vaadu lo lopala baadha paduthundochu....neeku nuvve assume cheskoni anadam kante its better to refrain. Ishant gaadu papam sammy ni normal gaane annadu, kaani vaadiki meaning telisaka edchadu kada.

True, also sometimes in college youngsters tolerate bullying because they want to be part of a cool group.

Actually hate it when dark people are loked down on. It happens on a regular basis in telugu movies. Most of the people are not ready to accept the fact that dark skin is also beautiful. I don't remember the movie name but the actress is anushka who says" poni ra asale nalla pranam" WTF anukunna.

That was same I was pointing out
I solely depends on context and person to person

It is always better to refrain from using those casual bad words unless you are very close with them.

Sammy ishant madhya jarigina conversation lo vadu feel ayyindhi....nor for abuses but body shaming.

My point was at-least in abuses, there is always a line drawn. It is easy to know when some uses abuses in a friendly manner or abusive manner.

But body shaming is not categorized as abusive in general

Yes
I have seen this many a times. If you don't tolerate these, then others will look at them as stiff or unfriendly.
